Protecting our water takes good drinking water and septic systems
The UMN Water Resources Center's Onsite Sewage Treatment Program (OSTP) is offering a free homeowner education class. This class will cover the basics of how septic systems function and how to test and protect your well from contamination sources. Information on proper maintenance of both septic systems and private and public wells will be covered to help property owners protect their investments and the environment. A representative from Mower County will be present to answer any questions you may have related to the local ordinance and related programs.
